Come out and play games, enjoy snacks, make new friends, meet the Sunday School teachers and most importantly, prepare for another great year of Avery Sunday School Education!  Join us on Sunday August 29, 2010 for our Kickoff Celebration and Carnival.  The Carnival will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.  Sunday School will be in session from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.  After Sunday School, we will enjoy a combined worship service at 11:00 a.m.!  Join us for a great Sunday School Kickoff!

Do you have a garden ready to produce more bounty than you can use?  Do you wish you had a garden so you could enjoy some fresh grown vegetables?  Well we have a solution!  Stop by the "God's Acre Garden Spot" in the entryway.  If you have extra produce you would like to donate - drop it off - if you're looking for fresh produce - make a donation and help yourself.  All donations will go to our on-going mission project to Heifer International.  To date this has been very successful, we have collected $178.80 so far.

Please plan to attend the organizational meeting for the 1st home football game on Sunday August 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room.  This meeting only for those specifically working the September 4th game.  Attendance is very important!  The purpose of this meeting will be to make job assignments, arrange transportation, hand out parking passes and game day passes.  Please mark your calendars for the pre-game meetings and football days.  The pre-game meetings are always the Sunday prior to the home game you are working.
